Vote for the #btub t-shirt design

Posted: April 3rd, 2009 | Author: lexiphanic | Filed under: Merchandise | Tags: , | 6 Comments »

The entries are in. Now to choose the one you like. We’ve had NINE entries from five #btub peeps. Now it’s up to you to decide which one you’d like.

The entries are below. To vote, see the bottom of this post.

Note: Some people have asked about the wording. Where relevant, wording can be changed (e.g. “Users” to “Underground”) if enough people say that they’d like the wording changed. Be sure to leave a comment here or on the poll and, if it’s the winning submission, we’ll look into changing it.

Call for #btub t-shirt competition entries

Posted: March 16th, 2009 | Author: lexiphanic | Filed under: Merchandise | Tags: | 5 Comments »

Question Mark T-shirtPeople have said they would like a #btub t-shirt, so who better to decide what it will look like than the people who want to wear it?

#btub is looking for a design for its t-shirt. So we’re running a competition. Designs must be submitted by 4pm, Friday 3 April 2009. After that we’ll put the designs up for the rest of #btub to vote on.

The winner gets a free t-shirt with their design printed on it as well as the privilege of seeing #btub peeps wearing their design.

If you think you have what it takes, email your design to btubtshirt@gmail.com — just make sure it meets the following requirements:

  • The design needs to include a space suitable for including the person’s @twittername
  • The design needs to include “#btub” in it somewhere
  • The fewer colours the better
  • Fancy wrap-arounds end up being hella expensive, so just a standard t-shirt front should be enough
  • Supply both a vector format file (EPS) and a bitmap format file (JPG or PNG).

Entries close on Friday 3 April at 4pm (QLD time).

Voting will open by Monday 6 April and will run for about one week.
