Call for #btub t-shirt competition entries

Question Mark T-shirt People have said they would like a #btub t-shirt, so who better to decide what it will look like than the people who want to wear it?

#btub is looking for a design for its t-shirt. So we’re running a competition. Designs must be submitted by 4pm, Friday 3 April 2009. After that we’ll put the designs up for the rest of #btub to vote on.

The winner gets a free t-shirt with their design printed on it as well as the privilege of seeing #btub peeps wearing their design.

If you think you have what it takes, email your design to btubtshirt@gmail.com — just make sure it meets the following requirements:

The design needs to include a space suitable for including the person’s @twittername
The design needs to include “#btub” in it somewhere
The fewer colours the better
Fancy wrap-arounds end up being hella expensive, so just a standard t-shirt front should be enough
Supply both a vector format file (EPS) and a bitmap format file (JPG or PNG).

Entries close on Friday 3 April at 4pm (QLD time).

Voting will open by Monday 6 April and will run for about one week.

I’m not sure about the front but one of the most popular “twittername” shirts is “you are following…. “twittername”" on the back (@ireckon @sunshinetalia)

Why dont we close the competition a few days earlier – and people can vote and discuss it at the #Btub meeting (3rd April ) then ?

if they are there and printed out – and we do it by a show of hands – I think that will be easy enuf – and the winner can get shouted a few drinks or something as well

I’d love to do it that way but I’m concerned that those submitting entries will feel like it’s not enough time to prepare.

To those who are submitting entries… can you have it ready by Sunday 29 March?

I agree with the suggestion of having “you are following etc.” on the back.

Designing a shirt with space on the front is destroying my pictures …

And people can have a _second_ @Twittername shirt as well this way
